Stevenage Bioscience Park Venues

The main conference takes place in the GSK Auditorium and Nucleus. Cross the footbridge over the lake to enter the GSK Main Reception. Follow the event signage to the first floor and check in at the BSGCT registration desk to collect your badge holder and lanyard.

The Poster and Networking Session, and tours of the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult Labs, take place in Sycamore House. Sycamore House is a 5 minute walk from the GSK main building. Follow the footpath out of the site, past the Gate House, and through the underpass by the A602 roundabout.

Venue

Stevenage Train Station - GSK Shuttle Bus

A shuttle service is provided between Stevenage Railway Station and GSK Stevenage. The service pickup/drop off points are Stevenage Train Station - Sycamore House - GSK Stevenage Main Reception. The journey takes approximately 7 minutes.

The shuttle bus is a Richmond's coach with 'GSK' listed on the front of the bus. Board at Bus Stop N, on the Stevenage town centre side of the station.

Thursday 22nd June Networking and Poster Session - Sycamore House to Train Station

The shuttle bus stops at Leyden Road Bus Stop A. This is on the opposite side of Gunnels Wood Road from Sycamore House. Follow the footpath though the underpass by the roundabout.

To get to Sycamore House from GSK, we recommend walking (approximately 5 minutes). See site map above.

Alternatively, you can take the shuttle bus from GSK (GSK departure times listed above). But you must ring the bell or inform the driver that you will be getting off at Sycamore House.

Driving to Stevenage Bioscience Park

As you enter the site, take the first left into the Gate House car park (signposted 'Visitors & Deliveries') and continue to the security barrier to show your conference badge and receive directions to a car park.

Please note: There is no parking available at Sycamore House. If you are attending the Poster and Networking Session on Thursday 22nd June, you can leave your car in the Bioscience Park car park, and return to collect it after the networking session.

Arriving or leaving by taxi

Arriving by taxi: Show your conference badge at the security barrier by the Gate House to proceed to the GSK main reception.

Leaving by taxi: Taxis can collect from outside the GSK main reception or at the Gate House. When ordering a taxi let the driver know where you want collecting from.

On arrival, check in at the Gate House Visitor Centre.

The Bioscience Park is a 30 minute walk / 8 minute cycle from Stevenage train station via the leisure park and Gunnels Wood Road.
