BSGCT's Annual Conference in 2019 takes place from 19th-21st June in Sheffield. The conference brings together scientists from across the UK and beyond to highlight the latest research and techniques in gene and cell therapy.
School students, patients and the public are invited to join us in Oxford for this FREE interactive event exploring gene and cell therapy. Meet leading scientists, discover cutting-edge research and discuss the impact gene and cell therapy has on society.
BSGCT's 2018 science writing competition recognises outstanding written communication by students (postgraduate and undergraduate) and research scientists (pre- and postdoctoral)
Dedicating to facilitating education, communication and the sharing of expertise and knowledge.
The aim of the British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy is to accelerate scientific progress and promote ethical and efficient transfer of gene- and cell-based technologies from the laboratory into the clinic.
Gene and cell therapy is an area where co-operation between ALL the interested parties - general public, patients, scientists, government and the media - is vital for the optimal development of these technologies and treatments, and BSGCT is working towards becoming this pro-active interface.
