Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and molecular cell biologist to take up a Graduate Research Assistant position in the School of Biological Sciences, Royal Holloway University of London.
With funding from Action for A-T (http://actionforat.org) we are starting a project to study the feasibility of using genome editing as a therapeutic option for the inherited disease ataxia-telangiectasia (A-T). You will use CRISPR genome editing technology to explore the correction of selected mutations in the ATM gene, initially in cell lines and subsequently in human haematopoietic stem cells. You will join a dynamic laboratory at Royal Holloway, University of London, with interests in gene repair, gene and cell therapy (see http://agctlab.org).
