Welcome to the BSGT Conference 2012
University College London, Institute of Child Health
Friday 9th March 2012
The annual conference of the British Society for Gene Therapy was held on Friday 9th of March, 2012, at the UCL Institute of Child Health, London.

Following on from the success of our recent collaborative congress with the ESGCT in Brighton, we arranged a single day event with the aim of showcasing the work of young scientists. Everyone in the stem cell and gene therapy community was welcome and encouraged to participate. As an additional motivation for early career scientists, MSc students, PhD students and early post-doctoral researchers, had the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the conference and organisation. This included reviewing abstracts, chairing sessions and presenting data.
There were decent breaks throughout the day to allow poster viewing and networking with other delegates and following the conference, everyone was encouraged to move to a local pub for drinks (The Lamb).
Registration for our meetings is much cheaper if you are a member of the Society. Become a member now.
If you have any queries or are interested in being a partner (by sponsoring a conference or having an exhibitor stand) then please contact Clare Beach or Suzy Buckley at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
